Hola a todos. Es un gran placer presentarles a todos este video sobre el proyecto de intercambio de cartas entre Úmbita, Colombia y Toledo, Estado Unidos. Sé que muchos voluntarios han hecho proyectos similares. Sin embargo, si ustedes son voluntarios de desarrollo económico comunitario o de Inglés, les animamos a hacer este tipo de proyecto para compartir cultura, costumbres y simplemente para conocer mejor a sus comunidades.

English Translation of the Video’s Text:
The Pen Pal project between Úmbita and Toledo, Ohio started in May of 2024. Since that time, students from third to eighth grade have written 174 letters. Students from Toledo will respond by December 2024. These are some of our stories:
Hi Jayla: My name is Helen. I am from Venezuela and live in Umbita. I like to play in the park. I like to play sports; I also like to go to mass. I like to play every day. I would like to get to know you through this project.
Dear Camden: I am Lisa from Úmbita, Boyacá. I was born on November 24th in Bogotá, capital of Colombia. I like to play basketball, math, paint and draw, fruits and my family. I have some questions for you: How are you doing? Do you have pets? What kind?
